The members of SITA are actively engaged in the support and education of cheerleading safety. By participating in the educational, certification and credentialing programs offered by the organizations listed here, coaches and cheerleaders will learn the proper technical proficiency, skill progression and coaching fundamentals to ensure the safest possible atmosphere to learn, perform and teach cheerleading.

The American Association of Cheerleading Coaches and Administrators is a non-profit educational association for the over 70,000 cheerleading coaches across the United States. Founded in 1988, members of the association include: youth, junior high school, high school, all star, and college or university coaches/advisors, as well as leading national cheerleading instructional companies dedicated to the safe and responsible practice of student cheerleading.

National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS)

Through communication, education and recognition, the NFHS Spirit Association supports coaches of middle and high school cheerleading, pom, dance and drill teams, by assisting them in risk management, good sportsmanship and citizenship, and professional development.

USASF is the U.S. All Star Federation. It's about safety standards. It's about coaches' education. It's about providing a safe environment to allow for the continued growth of all star cheerleading and dance across the country. It's about parents knowing their children are being taught using safe methods that are in accordance with the standard of care. It's about standardization of rules from one competition to the next. It's about time.
